Classic Full Set $159 1h 15m Natural, mascara-like fibers Refill every 2–3 wks ($79/$99)
Hybrid Volume $199 1h 30m Wispy, textured, fuller Refill every 2–3 wks ($79/$99)
6D Volume $219 1h 30m Dense, dramatic, editorial Refill every 2–3 wks ($79/$99)

Lower-lash extensions (+$50) pair with any upper set; extension removal is $30. The lift needs neither — it grows out invisibly on the natural 6–8 week cycle.

— Who lifts

Six people the top-rated lash lift
fits perfectly.

01

Good natural length, zero patience for upkeep

If your lashes are reasonably long but point straight out (or down), a lift gives you the wide-awake curl without the refill treadmill. There's nothing to maintain — it simply grows out over 6–8 weeks.

02

Adhesive-sensitive eyes

Extension adhesive can irritate sensitive eyes. A lift uses a keratin solution on the lash shaft instead of cyanoacrylate bonds at the lash line — the standard recommendation for guests whose patch test says no to extensions.

03

Extension breaks and recovery periods

Coming off months of heavy volume sets? A lift keeps your eyes 'done' while your natural lashes recover their density — the healthiest option on our lash menu, and the one Heather suggests for recovery phases.

04

Low-makeup and no-makeup routines

A lift reads as 'great lashes,' not 'lash work.' Guests who wear little or no eye makeup get the biggest visible payoff — the curl catches light that straight lashes block.

05

Gym, swim and travel schedules

No fibers means nothing to snag on towels or goggles. After the first 24 hours you can swim, sweat and sleep face-down without shortening the result.

06

First-timers who aren't sure about extensions

A lift is the low-commitment way to test-drive an eye-opening effect. If you love it and want more drama later, the same appointment logic upgrades you to a Classic or Hybrid set.

Your lash artist

Heather — licensed,
and honest about it.

Four years of lash work, every set custom-mapped. Heather's habit that guests mention most in reviews: she'll steer you to the lift — the cheaper service — when your natural lashes are better served by it than by a volume set they can't carry. That's the opposite of an assembly-line lash bar, and it's why the lift page you're reading exists.

— Lift questions

Asked before
every first lift.

What it does, how long it lasts, lift vs extensions, tint honesty, aftercare and sensitive eyes.

What exactly does a lash lift do? +

It reshapes the curl of your own lashes. Heather sets your lashes over a silicone shield, applies a keratin lifting solution that softens the lash's inner bonds, then a setting solution that locks the new upward curve. The result is your own lash line, curled and opened — no fibers, no glue bonds, nothing added.

How long does a lash lift last? +

6–8 weeks — the natural lash growth cycle. As lifted lashes shed and new ones grow in straight, the effect gradually softens rather than falling out visibly. Most guests rebook around week 7.

Lash lift or extensions — which should I pick? +

Lift ($129) if you have decent natural length and want zero maintenance. Extensions ($159–$219) if you want added length and density — with refills every 2–3 weeks to keep the line full. The comparison table above is the honest version; at your appointment Heather looks at your natural lashes and tells you which one they can actually carry.

Do you do lash lift and tint? +

We currently offer the lift only — tint isn't on the Pure Lash menu, and we'd rather say so than upsell a service we don't run. If you want deeper color day-to-day, a water-based mascara over lifted lashes (after the first 24 hours) gets you most of the way.

What's the aftercare for the first 24 hours? +

Keep the lashes dry and product-free for 24 hours while the set fully locks — no steam rooms, heavy workouts, swimming or eye makeup. After that, normal life resumes: shower, swim, sleep however you like. Avoid oil-based removers near the lash line long-term; oil relaxes the curl faster.

Is a lash lift safe? My eyes are sensitive. +

The lifting solution touches the lash shaft, not your eyelid margin, and your eyes stay closed under pads throughout. Sensitive-eyed guests generally tolerate lifts far better than extension adhesive. If you've ever reacted to eye cosmetics, mention it at booking — the FDA's eye-cosmetic safety page is a good primer on what reactions look like, and we'll patch-plan accordingly.

Can I wear mascara or use a lash curler afterwards? +

Mascara: yes, water-based and after the first 24 hours — though most guests find they stop needing it. Mechanical lash curlers: skip them entirely; they crease lifted lashes and shorten the result. The lift already did the curler's job, better.

How do I book, and can I pair it with nails? +

Book the Lash Lift (Upper Lash) on the reservation page or call (650) 386-6904. Heather is cross-trained on lashes and nails, and L2 Nail Salon shares the studio — a lift plus a gel manicure is a common 2.5-hour double-booking.
